We would like to recognize a young lady who is the future of Sprint Car Girls and an inspiration to everyone!

Lexi Adgate is a 16 year old from Ypsilanti, Michigan.  She races mini sprints at Jackson Speedway. She started racing three years ago after being sick with aplastic anemia and had a bone marrow transplant. A visit to Michigan International Speedway on a hospital trip inspired her to race. Three years ago, she started racing go karts on a road course, where she got 4th in points out of ten, and won a sportsmanship award. Last year she began racing sprint cars and got 7th in points out of about 20 cars. This year is her second year in a sprint car at Jackson and she has won a heat race already in 2013.

We are extremely pleased to have Lexi as a part of Sprint Car Girls!
